The Fun Lasts All Summer at Legacy Village

Art in the Village: June 1-2

The annual Art in the Village is a great beginning to summer fun on Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nearly 100 artists will participate in the juried show featuring mediums including painting, jewelry, photography, sculpture, ceramics and more. This show will also contain a separate craft marketplace as well as live music from Cats on Holiday, Justo Saborit & Havana Nights, Steve Radcliff and Back9 Par4.

Legacy Live: Saturdays, June 8 – August 31

Legacy Village’s free summer concert series, Legacy Live, returns on Saturday, June 8 and continues every Saturday through August 31. Concertgoers will enjoy a mix of live music ranging from pop and Motown, to rock and R&B. Legacy Live concerts are held from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Lawn, located in the midst of the Legacy Village shopping and dining community near Bar Louie, and are subject to cancellation in cases of inclement weather.  

Village Trivia: Thursdays throughout the summer at Bar Louie

Test your knowledge and get ready to win some awesome prizes during Village Trivia at Bar Louie. Village Trivia starts at 7 p.m., get ready to have some fun!

Little Legacy: Select Wednesdays beginning June 19

The popular Little Legacy series returns on three Wednesdays this summer: June 19, July 10 and

August 14 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. It’s fun galore at Legacy Village with crafts, games and entertainment geared towards children. On-stage entertainment will feature animal handlers, magicians, and more, with a variety of local organizations offering interactive games and activities geared to little ones.

North Union Farmers Market: Sundays, June 9 – September 22

North Union Farmers Market showcases the fresh tastes of summer every Sunday from June 9 to September 22, 9 a.m. to noon. Located on Cedar Road in the parking lot next to The Capital Grille lot, the Market features fresh, locally grown produce, dairy and meat products, cheeses, breads and pastries, jellies, flowers and more.

Meet the Machines: Sunday, August 4

Legacy Village partners with The City of Lyndhurst to present Meet the Machines on Sunday, August 4 from noon to 4 p.m. Children can explore construction, emergency and service vehicles of all makes and sizes. Free and open to the public, the fun, family-friendly event includes games, safety demos, music and vendors.

Enjoy outdoor adult beverages while strolling, shopping

Adding to the summer fun, Legacy Village’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) offers guests the opportunity to enjoy adult beverages outdoors within Legacy Village as well as at select Legacy Village retailers from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.

As part of the DORA program, patrons age 21 and over may purchase alcohol from participating Legacy Village restaurants, including Bar Louie, Brio Italian Grille, Chipotle, The Melting Pot, Wild Mango and the Hyatt Place. Enjoy your favorite beverages outdoors as well as at select Legacy Village retailers (look for a DORA decal on retailers’ doors). Alcoholic beverages must be in the designated plastic cups and no cans, glass bottles or drinks brought into Legacy Village are permitted.
