Celebrate Shavuot, a Jewish holiday that celebrates receiving the Torah at Mt. Sinai, with other interfaith couples and families! Vibrant colors, mouth-watering aromas, and a fun shared experience draw people to festivals to celebrate life together.
Experience all that and more at jHUB’s immersive festival experience to welcome Shavuot, a Jewish holiday that celebrates receiving the Torah at Mt. Sinai. Bring the whole family to learn about the experience at Mt. Sinai on this Shavuot adventure, where you’ll discover what’s meaningful to you about this holiday.
Gather with other interfaith couples and families to be part of the engaging art piece, climb the rock wall, create flower crowns, indulge in ice cream, and enjoy a double-feature movie program.
Where is this?
The jHUB Shavuot Outdoor Spring Fest will be in the parking lot to the left of Dicks Sporting Goods.
Where should I park?
Anywhere in the Legacy Village shopping center.
Will there be food?
Yes! Everyone gets a complimentary ice cream from East Coast Custard. There will also be pizza available to purchase.
What should I bring?
Please bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs for your family to sit in the cleared parking lot for the movie showings.
What should I wear?
If you’d like to climb the rock wall, please bring close-toed shoes. We will have a waiver for you to sign at the event.
There will be a small art project that involves paint. We recommend you wear something that you’re OK with getting dirty, just in case!
What happens if it rains?
We’ll still have the event! We have a large tent roomy enough for all of the activities (except the rock wall) and spots for your family to sit to enjoy the movie.
When should I come?
This is an open-house-style event! Couples and families can come at any time to enjoy the spring fest fun. There will be a shared experience at 3 p.m., which we encourage everyone to attend. Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/619334595447
