2015 Live Long Lyndhurst Egg Run 5K Run / Walk April 25th 2015

WHEN: Saturday, April 25th 2015
WHERE: Race begins and ends at Legacy Village. Parking will be available onsite.
TIMES:

– 7:00 AM Check-In, Legacy Village Center Courtyard.

– 8:00 AM L’il Leggs Run, Free for kids under 4.

– 8:15 AM 5K (3.1 miles) Run / Walk Begins, Strollers and Walkers are Permitted.

– 9:30 AM Awards and Recognition.

FEES:

– $20.00 Through March 25th.
– $25.00 March 26th thru the day before the race.
– $30.00 Race Day.
– $15.00 60 & Over.

Mail or drop off registration at the Hillcrest YMCA, 5000 Mayfield Road, by April 23rd.

Registration packet pickup at Second Sole, 5114 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124, Friday, April 24th, between 12:00 Noon and 8:00 PM.

ABOUT THE RACE: A Special Event for the Whole Family. Featuring Chip Timing. Light refreshments provided by Legacy Village after the Run for participants.

PROCEEDS: Proceeds to benefit the Hillcrest Family YMCA in their efforts to provide community support to those unable to participate in programming without it.

AWARDS: Awards provided for Top overall male and female. Top finisher by age group: 15 and under; 16-20; 21-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60 and over.

SHIRTS: Guaranteed shirts for the first 250 participants.

CHILDREN: Must have adult supervision at all times.

Healthy Community Initiative: The Healthy Community Initiative is a collaborative effort between Cleveland Clinic and community partners to promote optimal health and wellness. Based on the community health needs assessment and utilizing combined resources within our local communities, Healthy Community Initiative programs will be customized around three core areas: education, nutrition and physical activity.

Live Long Lyndhurst is a Health and Wellness Partnership between the City of Lyndhurst, Ohio, Cleveland Clinic Community Outreach, Legacy Village, Cleveland Metroparks at Acacia, The Fedeli Group, the YMCA, South Euclid – Lyndhurst Schools, Second Sole, and Anthem BlueCross BlueShield.
